January 19, 2011 Harder returns for 5th term FVLC elects Executive at January Council Meeting
Delegates to the Fraser Valley Labour Council held their Executive member elections at the January, 2011 meeting that saw Brian Harder acclaimed and returned for his 5th term as President.
All delegates were acclaimed, many returning to serve another term. Click here to see the list of FVLC Executive members. The January meeting also featured guest speaker Sharon Gregson, Vancouver School Board Trustee who spoke about the Coalition of Child Care Advocates of BC and the integrated system of early care and learning. |
Long time Treasurer Karen Porter from IBEW Local 258 was given a standing ovation as a show of appreciation when it was announced she was stepping down after serving numerous consecutive terms as Treasurer. David Murray from CEP was nominated and acclaimed as Treasurer.
